Q:How long has the agency been providing private care?
A:Since January 2006

Q:Does the agency have a written description of its services and fees?
A: No as fees vary. You would need to contact the office on 04852 600 919 to get and individual quote.

Q:How does the agency screen and select support workers prior to and assignment? Do they hire independent contractors?
A:Yes, all staff have to go through a CSSIW enhanced security check, stringent interview process and references checked. Independent contractors are used within our Registered setting for services and activates provided for the service users, e.g. Hairdressers, Gardeners, Therapists.

Q:Are references checked and criminal background and drug screens conducted on all employees?
A:Yes and all CRB’s are checked at an advanced level.

Q:Does the agency train, supervise and monitor its support workers? How often are they monitored?
A:Yes, continually.

Q:Does the agency create a care plan for each new service user? (Include details of services to be provided, frequency of care, and the period of time over which care is provided)
A:Yes. Dependant on the individual.

Q:Does the agency have a 24-hour telephone number for emergency questions or complaints?
A:Yes.

Q:Does a nationally recognised body accredit the agency? (This can mean that the organisation meets health and safety standards and is committed to quality care)
A:Yes. The CSSIW.

Q:Does the bill for service accurately state the cost of service provided?
A:Yes.

Q:Does the agency explain the services user’s rights and responsibilities?
A:Yes. We have a service users handbook which we can provide to you (Ask to see a copy).
